Transfer of European Space Technology One of our firm's clients is the European Space Agency. ESA is the European equivalent of NASA (in the USA) and NASDA (in Japan).
Within the ESA organization, responsibility for new space technology development lies with ESTEC.
In addition to the development of new technology, ESTEC is also
actively promoting transfer, or spin-off, of technologies originally developed for space activities.
On behalf of ESA, our firm is establishing contact with Japanese
companies that may be interested in technologies developed on behalf of ESTEC, or independently by European aerospace companies.
Those technologies
are available for transfer (licensing), or
may serve as the basis for other forms of collaboration (e.g., joint development)
Companies, universities and research organizations from the European space community are offering a selection of such technologies on the web site http://www.technology-forum.com.
You can access their technology database directly from this web page. Just follow the below instructions to search their technology database.
